A party hosted by up and coming “it” girl, Eva Mendes ended abruptly, as police shut down the star studded event. The party was held to celebrate the launch of the latest celebrity fragrance by Calvin Klein, “Secret Obsessions”.

Mendes is the face of the new fragrance, and a media campaign has been scheduled around the product launch. The actress was present when police closed the event citing “security concerns”.

The party was being held in the same building where actor Heath Ledger died from an accidental prescription drug overdose in January, but there has been no comment as to whether that incident contributed to the closing of the event.

Lindsey Lohan Pregnant in Next Film Role

Lindsey Lohan rumors have been blasted all over the media lately, but her upcoming role as an expectant mother might really raise a few eyebrows. Especially since rumors have her to being romantically linked celebrity DJ Samantha Ronson.

The actress is reportedly set to star in “Labor Pains,” a film about a publishing house assistant who must fake a pregnancy in order to keep her job. She is also said to have inked to a deal to star as a sex-addicted waitress in the upcoming film, “Florence”.

It seems her career might be back on track, but reports of bad behavior still follow her. In May, she was supposedly axed from the independant film “Manson Girls”, because other actors found it difficult to work with her. Also last month, she was accused by New York student Laura Hastings, for stealing clothes from her closet during a party.
