There could be a new trend starting in Hollywood. This year may go down as one of the biggest for high profile celebrities giving birth. Jessica Alba and Tori Spelling joined the ranks of new Hollywood moms, and Angelina Jolie is expected to deliver twins within the next few weeks.

Alba and her husband, producer Cash Warren welcomed their first child, a daughter, this morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Details of the birth were not released, but the baby’s name is rumored to be Honor.

Spelling and her husband, Dean McDermott, welcomed their second child in 15 months. Stella Doreen McDermott was born at 3:13pm, also at Cedars-Sinai.

Last month, Jack Black and Tanya Hayden gave birth to their second son, Thomas David. And Rascal Flatts singer -guitarist Joe Don Rooney and his wife, former Playmate of the Year, Tiffany Fallon, welcomed their first son, Jagger Donovan, who was born in Nashville.

Halle Berry and former “Law and Order” star Elisabeth Rohm also gave birth to their first babies earlier this year, making this a huge year for celebrity babies.
