Las Vegas is know as the town that never sleeps, but it looks like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony found a way to make good use of their time while still awake at three in the morning.
Access Hollywood reports that “At approximately 3:15 AM on Sunday morning, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony renewed their wedding vows in the newly renovated Forum Tower Penthouse at Caesars Palace.” The couple asked two of their friends to stand in as witnesses.
“It was a totally spur of the moment thing,” according to a source. “They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling around for ministers.”
The service was officiated by Rev. Steven Smith.
Hollywood couples have a reputation for changing marital partners as often as they change movie sets. The celebrity lifestyle creates broad challenges and temptations by pairing beautiful women with gorgeous men and placing them in compromising situations for the sake of work and art.
But while most celebrity couples fall prey to the lure of infidelity, others work within their relationships to establish lasting unions.
Many celebrities find it difficult to separate their public and private lives. J.Lo and Marc Anthony are one of the few celebrity couples who have been able to keep their private lives private. Though they make personal appearances and attend social events, they do so as a couple, which seems to have a lot with making their relationship work.
J.Lo may have learned from past mistakes. After being involved in high profile relationships with music mogul P. Diddy and later, actor Ben Affleck , the singer/actress may have grown weary of having the tabloids document her every move.
Her marriage to Marc Anthony has been her longest lasting relationship, and let’s just hope that what happens in Vegas, stays together after Vegas for this celebrity couple.
