Sarah Palin Pokes Fun At Herself On Saturday Night Live
Don’t let it be said that Sarah Palin can’t be a good sport!
Alaska governor and republican vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, made a surprise visit to the set of “Saturday Night Live ” this weekend. She participated in a couple of sketches and poked fun at herself, but also dished out a few barbs, as the long running SNL received it’s best ratings in over a decade.
In the opening sketch, Tina Fey , who’s dead-on portrayal of Palin on several episodes of the show drew rave reviews, once again played the governor. While Fey poked fun at the governor on-stage, Palin stood backstage with SNL producer Lorne Michaels watching and commenting on the skit when Fey’s “30 Rock ” co-star Alec Baldwin walked up and mistakenly misidentified the real Sarah Palin for Tina Fey.
“This is the most important election in our nation’s history and you want her, our Tina, to go out there and stand with that horrible woman?” Baldwin asked Michaels.
When Michaels introduced Baldwin to Gov. Palin , Baldwin looked embarrassed and uttered, “I see. Forgive me. I feel I must say this… You look way hotter in person.”
Yes it’s quite funny as they throw jibes at each ther then mock themselves. It’s a bit of a joke really.
