Grammy Nominations and Victoria Secret Headline CBS Tonight
The 2009 Grammy award nominees will be revealed Wednesday night during a star-studded presentation which will be televised live on CBS. Several past Gammy winners will perform on the event, including Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, and John Mayer.
The actual awards show is not scheduled until February 8, 2009, but for many artists, being named as a nominee does wonders for jump starting sluggish record sales, and for generating a new marketing campaign.
But, televising the nominations and concert is about ratings and hype. The concert will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, and John Mayer is also scheduled to headline a post concert event.
Following the Grammy nominations will be another much anticipated spectacle. The 2008 Victoria Secret Fashion Show will feature some of the world’s most beautiful models showing off the newest line of intimate lingerie, and just in time for Christmas.
The show was actually filmed on November 15, and almost as an after thought, will feature a performance by Usher.
It should be a great night of television viewing.

Awesome show. I just love watching the unusual designs come down the catwalk. I know that Heidi big pink bow was suppose to be the big show stopper but there were other wings that I just liked better.
