Chris Brown Arrested for Assaulting Rihanna in Los Angeles
Oh, No! Say it ain’t so!
Celebrity world golden boy and R&B sensation Chris Brown, has been arrested in Los Angeles and charged with felony domestic battery on a woman . The identity of the woman has not been released by police, but it is widely believed to be the singer’s girlfriend, Rihanna.
Both Chris Brown and Rihanna were scheduled to perform during Sunday night’s Grammy Awards presentation, but both pulled out of the event just hours before the live broadcast.
The arrest stemmed from an incident which occurred early Sunday morning, when Brown and a woman began arguing in a vehicle. According to the woman, Brown pulled the vehicle over, and the argument escalated. The woman suffered what police called “visable injuries”, and identified the hip hop star as her attacker.
Brown had left the scene by the time police arrived, but turned himself in at around 7 pm, after a police spokesperson released the statement, “Mr. Brown is a suspect we are looking for. We would definately like to speak with him.”
Chris Brown is currently being held on a $50,000 bail.

I agree everyone,
There should never be a reason for anyone to resort to domestic violence. If you can’t come to an agreement through verbal communication, then it’s best to simply walk away.
I’m not sure how this will affect his career yet. He has a number of commercial endorsements, and I’m sure those sponsors are anxiously awaiting the outcome.
I’ll bet Michael Phelps is happy that he’s no longer the media’s whipping boy.

Everybody is so upset about this news! I must admit that I am a tiny bit dissapointed that me and my girlfriends won’t be seeing her tomorrow…but I really do hope that she recovers soon.
