New DWTS Line-up Includes Lil Kim, Lawrence Taylor, and Jewel
The ballroom dancing sensation “Dancing With the Stars” recently announced it’s contestant line-up for season eight, and this may be the most diverse group yet. Rapper Lil’ Kim, NFL Hall of Fame linbacker Lawrence Taylor, and former Apple Computers executive, Steve Wozniak, will slip on their dancing shoes for the popular ABC show.
Olympic gymnast Shawn Johnson, and pop songstress Belinda Carlisle will also compete this season, along with Denise Richards, Steve-O, and comedic actor David Alan Greer. Celebrity reporter Nancy O’Dell, and “Sex and the City” actor Gilles Marini will also be competing.
But this season, producers are adding a new twist. Real-life celebrity couples will also be competing. Jewel, who has had hits on both the pop and country charts, and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray are in the line-up, as are country singer Chuck Wicks, and his girl friend, two-time DWTS champion, Julianne Hough.
Should be an interesting season, but my early bet is on Julianne Hough, though it’ll be interesting to see what Lil’ Kim wears (or doesn’t wear).
