Amy Fisher wants to be back in the public spotlight, and she hopes to cash in on her played out 15 minutes of fame to do just that.

Amy Fisher exploded onto world headlines in 1992 as a 17 year old student attempting to murder the wife of her 35 year old lover, Joey Buttafuoco. Since then Fisher has been the butt-a-fuco of all Lolita jokes by continuing to pop up every few years for one reason or another.

While in prison, became involved involved in a sexual relationship with a prison guard. After her release, Fisher promised to reinvent herself, and attempted to do just that. She became an award winning columnist for the Long Island Press, and later, wrote a book, “If I Knew Then”.

Now Fisher wants to reinvent herself again, this time, as a porn star and a stripper. She plans to tour once a month as an exotic performer until she wears out her welcome.

“I love to dance, and I’m an exhibitionist,” she says. “I’m going to take this road until my fans tell me, ‘Dear, please put your clothes back on. You’re too old.’”

Fisher released a porn video in 2007, and more recently, a sexually explicit pay-per-view project, “AmyFisher: Totally Nude and Exposed”.She hopes to capitalize off of the success of those ventures.

Personally, Ive got nothing against Amy Fisher earning a living. Everbody’s gotta eat. But, I can’t help wondering if she’s sharing any of that hard earned money with the ex-Mrs. Buttafuoco.
