Celebrity supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her equally famous boyfriend, NFL quarterback Tom Brady, finally tied the knot Thursday in an intimate ceremony attended only by a few close friends and family members. The Brazillian bombshell had hinted about possible wedding plans for weeks, but never released specific details to the media.

Rumors have circulated for months about the pending nuptials, and at one point, there was spculation that the two had already wed. And though the marriage itself was of little surprise, the timing of the event was. Some believe that a summer date may have been moved up after the similarly quickie marriage of Bundchen’s friend and countrywoman, model Adriana Lima, to NBA star Marko Jaric on Valentine’s Day.

The wedding was held at held at the Santa Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, and the couple hosted a small gathering at their Brentwood home following the ceremony

Brady’s one and a half year ond son by former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan was also in attendance.
