Terrell Owens Finds New Life After Being Released by Dallas

Terrel Owens always seems to land with his feet on the ground. After being released by the Dallas Cowboys earlier this week, few teams showed interest in adding the highly controversial receiver to their roster. Now, after being unemployed for less than a week, it appears Owens will be catching balls for the Buffalo Bills.

Owens’ one year deal with the Bills is worth a reported $6.5 million dollars. Not bad for a 35 year old receiver who has created as much turbulence off the field as he has on it. If only the rest of the unemployed population had it so good.

Though Terrell Owens ranks second in NFL history with 139 touchdown receptions, his mouth has been more of a distraction than his on field antics. He’s been a locker room distraction with every team with whom he’s played, and has never been shy about complaining that e doesn’t get the ball thrown his way enough.

Buffalo will have it’s hands full with Owens, and with leading rusher Marshawn Lynch recently pleading guilty to gun charges, the Bills may very well be on their way to reinventing themselves as the Cowboys.
